Paying for nothing

Paid omni to resolve a tax debt and there was no resolution whatsoever. Hired a cpa who did much more for much less. Omni was still trying to get more money from me and all they did in 11 months was file a 433. Horrible.

Keeps calling saying we have Tax debts we don't have!

They call constantly bothering us about Tax Liens that do not exist. I called back, asked them for their site, and how specifically they obtained this information. The man started stumbling on his words, ESPECIALLY when I asked him how he obtained the information, saying the City of West Hollywood, EDD, and the Franchise State Tax Board gave them our info. We have NO unresolved issues with any of those agencies. We even double checked to make sure of it. Obviously a predatory company that fabricates info to rip off fearful consumers. If I did have tax trouble, I'd never EVER go through these jerks. They called from Denver Colorado, why would someone in Colorado be resolving California Tax problems? Such a blatant scam.

Obviously a scam

If it sounds too good to be true - it is. They keep calling me and I decided to call them back. They said they have many testimonials of others they've helped reduce their back taxes or tax liens and that just for 1,500.00 mine could be squared away - without knowing any of my details. Amazing right? right. So after they tell me they know they could help, they slide in, oh and we will now pass you along to our finance team and get your information so that we can proceed. First of all, what would the finance team need from me so soon in the game. Let me back track, they don't even say how much this process would be to start until I asked what they were charging. Now, without asking more information about my tax situation, they want to send me over to their finance team. Meaning, setting up a payment plan without getting any paperwork or explanation of their company. RED FLAG.

Terrible Predatory Company

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Called my wife several times and had her so scared she became ill. Kyle told her she had a tax lien and that the IRS would attach the lien to our home, our business, and all of our assets. We've asked "Kyle" several times to stop calling but he has disregarded our requests and is very rude. I demanded that he stop calling her but he just talked over me and would not listen to a single word. I ended the call by telling him we would be filing complaints to which he replied "we could care less about your complaints". I did speak with someone today who assured me there would be no further calls but time will tell. I am filing a complaint with the Georgia State Attorney Generals Office and the Colorado Better Business Bureau today.

Cold Call

Called about a tax lien just filed against my company. Problem is that company no longer exists. I closed the associated business and filed bankruptcy over ten years ago personal and professional. I also won a court case related to owing taxes on this business. As soon as I heard his pitch I knew it was a scam I told him that the business does not exist and I have no tax lien. I also told him to never call again. He started shouting at me, so I hung up and blocked the number. 303928**** was the number he called from.

They just called me about a non-profit I had 15 years ago about taxes. I have never, ever heard anything about anything on that non-profit in over a decade so I was wondering who they are and why they are calling now.

SCAM!!!

It was a cold call. They told me I had 6 figure state tax lien. I can't imagine how much money you would have to make to have a 6 figure state tax lien. So either they are stupid or they think I am. (probably the latter) I told them I had an accountant and asked that they send me the "notice" they claimed to have and that I would review and call them back if necessary. They agreed and ended the call without getting any info from me on where to send the notice. (guess they figured I was on to them) Obviously a scam!

Absolute *** Scam Artists

I get a cold call stating my business has a $49,000 lien, which after my heart rate came back down to normal I checked my state tax records and realized they made it all up - it was 100% untrue. What disgusting *** to randomly call people and get them scared and worried and charge fees for completely erroneous / false / non existent tax liens. If you get a call from these guys, laugh hard at their pathetic life and beg them to do something good for society. The guy who called me was Alex Spring, probably a phony name. After making fun of them for 15 minutes they had the nerve to call me back! Incredible chutzpah for *** scam artists. BEWARE!!!!

You know if you truly were a client of Omni Financial you would have got a copy of their money back guaranty. I am a client of theirs and when I signed up I got an email that included a money back guaranty that is why I hired them.

BEWARE!!!

They call all the time. This time they called from 303-928-**** and say there are tax issues and are "trying to help us". These kinds of predatory companies infuriate me. We had an issue with one of our state unemployment tax quarters being overlooked not getting paid last year and was handled it with the state directly. They actually called our young son's (who has the same name as his father) cell phone number!!! How they got his cell number, I will never know. He is in college. I got on the phone with the guy and went off. They still call and we block the different numbers every time. From now on, we will give them the name of our 'attorney', Ronald Berger, and then give them the number of McDonalds... DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR HARRASSMENT!

Falsely claimed that I owe $60,000

Aaron with this company contacted me in October of 2017. Aaron asked me if I owned a certain business. I informed Aaron that I did own a business by that name. He proceeded to tell me that the business owed over $60,000 and had a lien against it. I told him that must be erroneous as the business has not been active in many years. He indicated that his information was based on good data and proceeded to try to pass me to a handler or other sales person. The interaction seemed like he was trying to lure me in without being forthright. When I suggested that he allow me to do some independent research and follow up later, he resisted. I then disconnected the call. It took me several hours to find and contact the correct people with the state and IRS to make sure the information was not correct. After my research I concluded what I already knew. I don't owe anything! A few days later Aaron called me again. When confronted, he said they frequently call the wrong person. The business he was looking for just had a similar name to my business. This is unacceptable and immoral. The false information, carelessness, and evasive nature of this interaction cost me time and stress.

Interest rate

I can see how Omni helps and supposedly supports organizations, its because Omni charges the poor military very high interest rates, like me at 36%. I didn't realize this until today. How can Omni receives awards from military communities when they are truly ripping off the military. I always thought Omni was there to help. Not screw us. Its a shame that the military that fight and defend our country have to get screwed by the likes of Omni Financial. A service member gets into a bind and goes to Omni for help, then Omni helps them at a very high cost. I walked into Omni's office and seen the flags representing all of the services of the United States and was impressed, what a mirage.

Got a call from them today stating that I have a tax lien from August 3rd. She asked if it had been resolved. Knowing that I didn't have a lien, I played along and said, "Yes, it was resolved." Pretty sure that caught her off guard. She didn't know how to answer. We went back and forth and she started asking detailed questions. First off, why would I want to answer your detailed questions if you never verified who you were or that you had control over my account. Anyways, this business uses black hat scam tactics to gain customers/leads. Don't fall for their fake tactics! Also, take me off your call list!

Its all public record for one so you were not illegally contacted. These so called firms work solely off of public records.

So instead of asking how and why maybe you should be looking into those things further because you could most definitely be dealing with an identity theft issue.

And detailed questions needed to be asked in order to prepare an 843 refund. You however do not like any phone solicitation and automatically labeled this person a nuisance and your complaint is irrelevant.
